College of the Desert Street Fair Returns after being shut down for almost two years due to Covid-19

Since 1983 one of the top attractions for residents and tourists alike in the Palm Springs area has been the open-air Street Fair at the College of the Desert in Palm Desert, California.  This popular year-round event, held every Saturday and Sunday, resumed on Saturday, January 8, 2022 after being closed for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Admission to the Street Fair is free and funds raised from space rents from the nearly 300 merchants provides scholarships, financial aid, and other projects benefitting students attending College of the Desert.

At the Street Fair, visitors will find a wide variety of unique novelties and gifts, tools, gadgets, apparel, eyewear, cosmetics, health & beauty products, pet products, original artwork, fruits & vegetable, jewelry, housewares, luggage, purses, furniture, sporting equipment, yard and patio items, and even automobiles. In addition, located in the center of the venue are many food vendors offering a wide variety of delicious food and beverage offerings.

College of the Desert is located at 43500 Monterey Avenue

in Palm Desert, CA. Free shuttle service is available from a variety of student parking lots.
