Designed by E. Stuart Williams in 1947, the iconic mid-century Frank Sinatra Twin Palms Estate on East Alejo Road in Palm Springs was Sinatra’s primary residence from 1947-1954.  Famous for its piano-shaped pool, Sinatra lived at the house with his first wife, Nancy from 1947-1951, and also during his second marriage to Ava Gardner from 1951-1957.

In recent years the Sinatra Twin Palms Estate has been managed by Natural Retreats, a luxury vacation rental management company specializing in upscale properties and mid-century estates.  This historic property has served as the location for countless high-end social events, corporate retreats, luxury weddings, private events & themed parties, product launches, fashion shows, and more.

On Sunday, April 26, 2026, Metropolitan Fashion Week, one of the most prestigious and longest running fashion events in the United States, held its 2026 annual event at the Frank Sinatra Twin Palms Estate.  This glamourous annual runway-type fashion show distinguishes itself by featuring exquisite couture in architecturally iconic locations.

This year’s sold-out event featured couture, avant-garde designs, Rat Pack-type formal wear, swimwear, and benefited the LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert.

Internationally acclaimed designers in attendance with their stunning creations included Douglas Tapia and Arturo Rios.  Swimwear featured at the event was contributed by ADICORA Swimwear for women and Parke & Ronen for men. The show was directed by fashion expert, producer, TV personality for Telemundo and KTLA, Eduardo Khawam. Emmy-winning journalist and communication official spokesperson for the Palm Springs International Airport, Jake Ingrassia, was the presenter, and co-hosts of the event were Peter Daut and Katie Boer, KESQ television personalities in Palm Springs.
